All data both input and output on the Matrixx Mobile App and Matrixx desktop portal is sent through a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection with an 2048 bit RSA key encryption providing a 112-bit security strength.

All users Matrixx Portal access is safeguarded with personal username and password.

The use of Matrixx Portal is across all major operating systems and devices. Matrixx Mobile can be used on all iOS, Android and Windows devices.

Any combination of devices can be used between the two platforms i.e. you can use an apple mobile device with Matrixx Mobile and access data on a Windows device.

All DDR or PLOD data can be captured and standardised into your preferred format. We can replicate your existing paper form, or use a form template. Whatever works best for your team. Additionally, you can attach:

  • Photographs can be attached to forms.
  • Signatures can be captured on a form.
  • GPS location is saved when the user creates the form and submitted when the form is submitted back to the Web Portal.

Matrixx Mobile can be used off-line and was designed to be used in regional, remote, and offshore environments.

Forms completed when there is no Internet connection are synchronised with Matrixx Web Portal once an internet connection is established and the form is sent.

From the forms design to what is shown on the form, customisation is what we do. Dropdowns can be edited and made, values triggering other fields specific values/dropdowns can be done, choosing the required fields, creating custom validation for the forms. We can customise the form in any way you require so it is best suited for your teams needs.

This does depend on the complexity and size of the form. In general, we will endeavour to have your form ready for use within 5 working days. During your onboarding process we will make note of any deadlines you have and work to these.

The number of days completed forms stay visible on the tablet is chosen by you. It is part of our setup process of the form.

All forms submitted to the Matrixx portal are visible indefinitely.

Yes. This is configurable. Admin users can select which forms are relevant to each user as well as select the relevant roles for certain users.

We have designed the Matrixx Mobile and Matrixx Portal system to be audit friendly. The date, time and the device which was used for each submitted form is captured in the Matrixx Portal and can be used for compliance purposes.

When a tablet is turned on and connected to the Internet any new forms will be available for downloading and there will be a notification alerting you of any changes.

No, forms can be saved for completion over several hours, days or weeks. It is only when the form is marked ‘completed’ that it can be sent through to the Matrixx Portal.

Yes, first download the template for the admin page you’re on. Follow the example format. Then upload the data.

Users can be assigned roles which include the ability to view and correct forms as well.

If you’re a Matrixx Portal user then the form will land in the inbox, highlighted red along with receiving an email notification. The form will have a comment attached to notify you of what was wrong with the form.

If you’re not a Matrixx Portal user, then you will be automatically notified through email.

The system allows a user or an admin user to reset other users’ passwords. The password change is done through email.
